SONH Runs Boston

Running in Support, One Mile at a Time

My name is Marcos De Sa, and I’m running to stand beside people and a cause that matter deeply to me.

I live in Nashua, New Hampshire, and work as a Realtor with RE/MAX Innovative Properties. Health and lifestyle are incredibly important to me, and running has become a huge part of how I stay balanced, focused, and motivated. I love marathons because they challenge both the body and the mind, and they remind me what persistence and perseverance really look like. When it’s time to get ready for a run, you’ll find me listening to high-beat music that helps set the pace and keep me moving forward.

This is my first time being involved with Special Olympics New Hampshire, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. I’m here as a supporter of my dear friend, Thomas Cantara, and of all individuals with disabilities who show incredible determination every day. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the athletes who participate with Special Olympics and the community that surrounds them.

People often describe me as persistent, loyal, and driven by perseverance. Those qualities shape how I train, how I work, and how I show up for the people in my life. One piece of advice I try to live by is to always push through your limits. Growth happens on the other side of discomfort, and running has taught me that lesson over and over again.

I don’t see myself as anything special in this crowd. I’m just another runner, taking part in something bigger than myself. By being part of this team, I hope to help amplify the impact of Special Olympics New Hampshire and stand behind athletes who prove that effort, opportunity, and community can change lives.

Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting a mission that celebrates perseverance, inclusion, and respect with every mile.
