Some causes are bigger than ourselves, and some people leave a legacy that inspires us to keep showing up, even when it’s hard. ❤️

The NH Special Olympics Winni Dip has always been about so much more than jumping into freezing water. It’s about community, inclusion, supporting incredible athletes, and coming together for something that truly matters.

For me, this event is especially close to my heart because of Captain Anthony DeFrancesco. He was a huge advocate for Special Olympics, an incredible fundraiser, and such a huge part of my life. He was also one of the biggest reasons I became so involved in our community. His passion for helping others and making a difference left an impact on me that I will carry forever. 💙

This year’s Winni Dip will be especially difficult as we face our first year without him here with us. There will absolutely be a piece of our hearts missing, but I know his spirit will be right there with us. And knowing Anthony… maybe he’ll even arrange for a little extra ice on the lake just to make sure we feel his presence! 😂🧊

As we prepare for March 6, 2027, I’m asking for your support in honoring Anthony’s legacy and continuing the work he cared so deeply about. Every donation, every share, and every bit of encouragement helps support Special Olympics athletes and keeps this incredible mission going.
