I am so excited to be making an icy splash into the Atlantic at the High School Plunge for Special Olympics New Hampshire!

The why...

Good afternoon!
I thought I would reach out to you today because I am participating in the Penguin Plunge this year to help support the athlete's of the Special Olympics of NH. This organization has been near and dear to my heart for a very long time, as my cousin, Chris, is in a number of Special Olympic teams in Manchester and has been for decades. I have started this plunge journey because of him 18 years ago!
This year I will be plunging into the frigid Atlantic for additional reasons. I am a teacher in Londonderry, NH, and plunging with a team of students to help raise funds for the several unified teams here at the high school.  I have had the pleasure to attend several unified games throughout my career as a teacher and I will tell you they are the BEST sports games you could attend. The gymnasium erupts when these students (some of them are mine!) enter during pep-rallies and that is how you know unified athletics touches everyone's heart and soul.
30% of your donation will go directly to our Unified sport teams and 70% will go back to the thousands of NH athletes like my cousin, Chris.
