We are Freezin’ for a Reason!
Yes The Frozen Sections are participating in the Penguin Plunge again this year for the 20th year in a row! The Penguin Plunge is the big fundraising event of the year for Special Olympics NH(SONH). The majority of the money that our local team raises goes to the Keene area Special Olympians.
The money raised pays for sports equipment, uniforms, travel to events, and much more. In the summer of 2022 two members of the Frozen Sections, Becky May and Downey Page, will be traveling to Orlando Florida for the USA summer games.
Of course there have been many changes for the Special Olympics NH and the Plunge over the past 3 years but I'm so happy that our team will be able to get wet and raise money for this wonderful cause.
