A special message from our friend, Kelley: why the Munsonville Plungers take a frosty dip in March.
Thank you and your teammates for supporting Special Olympics New Hampshire! As the grandmother of an athlete, I can tell you that participating in SONH has made a significant impact on Jaden’s life. He has Autism and struggles with Anti-social Disorder. He is prepping for the Winter Games where he competes in snowshoeing AND he is playing Unified Basketball at Central High School. Competing as an individual is one thing but competing on a team is something we thought would never happen. He’s actually made friends and feels more comfortable at school. None of this could happen without the support of fundraisers such as you and your team. So, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
