Another Year I’m Freezin’ for a Reason!

I am so excited to be making an icy splash at Hampton Beach on February 11th for Special Olympics biggest fundraiser, The Penguin Plunge.  This will be my 9th year, and the theme is Halloween.  What will my costume be?

Please donate in any amount if you are able. It will make a profound difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and these Special Olympics athletes can participate in life-changing programs that promote physical fitness, self-confidence, and social inclusion.

Every dollar you give goes toward creating a more inclusive, accepting, and empowered community.  Anything you can do to help is appreciated whether it’s plunging with me, forming your own team, raising funds without plunging (a Pampered Penguin), volunteering at the event or spreading the word about this tradition. You could even do a DIY version, if you prefer.

I am so thankful for supporters who keep this movement going. There are now High School, Middle School, Law Enforcement Plunges and Dips that all raise money for this worthy cause. I’ve been privileged to be a part of this organization, a humbling experience.
