My first plunge was in 2021. I joined Parker's Peeps because the Burgess family have been great family friends since we met in 2013. Our kids are buddies and this a fun way to stay in touch and support a great cause.

I did DIY plunges for the first two years and did my first plunge with my team in 2023 then again in 2024. In 2025 I was out plowing and had to miss the team plunge so I pick axed a hole in the ice up in Laconia and did another DIY plunge.

I am very excited to do another team plunge in 2026.

I'm so excited to be making an icy splash into the Atlantic at the Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics New Hampshire! This year’s theme is "Jungle Safari" and I’m ready to go wild for inclusion - trading snow boots for safari boots and taking the plunge for an incredible cause!

Thanks to all who donated and spread the word. I had a goal of $720 that we hit on 1/28. I decided to up my goal to see how much we can raise for the Special Olympics of NH.
