The water will be cold…and we may be older... but we are still freezin' for an awesome reason!

I am once again looking forward to this Penguin Plunge, making an icy splash into the Atlantic  for  the Monadnock Huskies local Special Olympics program  in New Hampshire! This year’s theme is “Alice in Wonderland” and it’s going to be a grand adventure down the rabbit hole with a whole lot of fun characters!

Please donate to my Plunge. It will make a profound difference for our program supporting 21 student athletes or alumni of Monadnock Regional Middle High School. A group of individuals near and dear to me.  Special Olympics athletes participate in life-changing programs that promote physical fitness, self-confidence, and social inclusion.

Mary's Team Penguin Plunging

Wednesday 11th Dec
On the first day of plunge prep, Captain Mary recruited crazy team members.
On the second day of plunge prep, our plunge team created funding pages.  
On the third day of plunge prep, our team members got  busy raising funds. 
On the fourth day of plunge prep, Molly exclaimed, " I got this plunge theme. 
On the fifth day of plunge prep, Nick volunteer to take the dip.
On the sixth day of plunge prep,, Kegan recruited a new member. 
On the seventh day of plunge prep, the team grew by and additional three: Bob, Denny and Wendy.
On the eighth day of plunge prep, we all paused for a gut check.
On the ninth day of plunge prep, the call went out to loyal donors to support our cause.
On the tenth day of plunge prep, we took some time to celebrate bowling accomplishments.
On the eleventh day of plunge prep, team members adjusted to cold temps at home.
On the twelfth day of plunge prep,  team members  decreed, "I am all in"!
