I’m Freezin’ for a Reason!

I am so excited to be making an "icy" splash into the Waterville Estates pool to support the Penguin Plunge for my Special Olympics Alpine Ski Team, the Waterville Valley Coyotes on February 3, 2024.

In order for our team to train and compete we are fortunate that 80% of our athletes are able to learn to ski and choose to be ski racers with the Coyotes via scholarships that fund their lesson programs.  However, our team is growing (woohoo!!) and I am raising funds to support our athletes and ensure that we continue to have access to required gear and safety equipment, ski passes for practice days, rentals and tunings, entry fees for competitions and the Games themselves! 

As an athlete on the Coyotes, participating in the Special Olympics Winter Games is one of the most important things I do every year. Special Olympics makes a profound difference in the lives of people with intellectual and physical disabilities across the Granite State.  The members on my team participate in life-changing programs that promote physical fitness, self-confidence, and social inclusion. As an athlete on the Waterville Valley Coyotes Alpine Ski Team, I can tell you Special O MATTERS to me and makes a difference in my life!  I love it and there are lots of others who will be able to benefit just like I have with your help.

I've set a fundraising goal to help my team compete in the Winter Games in 2024 and to make sure we reach our needed Team funding goal.

Please know, every dollar you donate goes directly to the Waterville Valley Coyotes Team and I know firsthand that being a member of the Coyotes and participating in NH Special Olympics helps create a more inclusive, accepting, and empowered New Hampshire.  Together, we can create a world where everyone has the chance to shine.
