Dover Dynamite Penguin Plunge 2025 - Kyle Ball
My name is Kyle Ball, and I am the head coach of the Dover Dynamite SONH basketball team! This is my second year plunging, but my 9th year being involved in Special Olympics activities in Dover or the surrounding area (first as a Unified partner in high school, and since as a coach for softball and basketball). In this time I have cultivated friendships to last a lifetime, and seen people who I consider to be great friends achieve their goals, in sport but also in other facets of life.
I'm hoping to plunge again with my team this year in order to keep making programs like Dover Dynamite available for the people who need it most. The effort that our athletes put in is always visible, and I see it only to be fair to support them however I can, even if that means jumping into the ocean at 11am on Super Bowl Sunday.
